However, transforming these industrial structures into comfortable homes comes with its own set of challenges.
Typically available in two standard sizes—20×8 feet or 40×8 feet with a height of 8.5 feet—shipping containers offer approximately 160 square feet of living space per unit when using the smaller size. To enhance comfort and functionality, walls are often removed to create open interiors, while insulation is added to regulate heat and reduce noise. Additional spaces are created by incorporating brick walls and curtain walls, seamlessly blending modern and traditional materials.
